Photo lesson #1
I am finally going to try and use this camera I've had for a few years, with the help of a friend of mine. I still suck and am using a lot of cliches...(not to mention that quite a few of these are out of focus...) but it's definitely fun to explore anyway. These were all taken at the hospital where I work, by the way. Anyway, practice, practice, practice!

When things are out of focus, you just say, "That was the effect I was going for!" I like them all, but especially the second one with the flying bee.

I think these are great! I've recently started manually focusing when I take pictures with Kurt's Nikon D40 and I cannot believe I never did it before! It's so awesome! How did you do these?
